East County's Premier Wireless Internet Service

Our Mission:

Our mission is to provide affordable and reliable, high-speed Wireless Internet service throughout many of our East County communities. We are currently offering service in the most populated areas of Descanso and Guatay and have just begun offering service in the Viejas and East Alpine areas. Other areas to be covered will be announced 30 days prior to launch.

How It Works:

We have strategically positioned WiFi radios throughout the desired coverage area that “talk” to one another as well as your computer, forming what is called a mesh network. This is the same technology used by hotspot locations such as at Starbucks. You will then connect wirelessly to our signal and begin surfing the web.

Some residents may also need additional equipment depending on their distance from the radios and if any obstructions, such as trees, are in the wireless path. This can only be determined during the installation process.

What It Costs:

We have several plans to select from to meet your specific needs. All plans are for 12 months with a 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee described below and then continue month-to-month thereafter.

Single Computer Households:

If you have one computer in your home and you can connect directly to our system with your wireless card then you will not need any additional equipment. If your computers wireless card is not strong enough to receive our signal sufficiently you may need to purchase a USB adapter of at least 200 milliwatts, which we can supply for $70.00 or $80.00 depending on your operating system.

Multiple Computer Households:

If you wish to be able to have multiple computers connected to our service you will need to purchase a Pepwave modem from us at a cost of $200 and possibly a stronger antenna. We allow up to 3 computers per account. In some cases an even stronger Pepwave may be needed at a cost of $250. This can only be determined when we perform a no-charge signal check at your location.

Monthly Pricing Plans:

Please select the preferred speed that best suits your needs. Light users will find our $24.95 month plan to be sufficient. If you have multiple computers and they will be accessing the internet at the same time we suggest the $49.95 or $69.95 month plan since when multiple people are using the internet simultaneously everyone shares the same bandwidth.

Annual Pricing Plan-Save 10%:

If you would prefer to avoid tracking the monthly debits to your credit card, PLUS SAVE 10%, you may purchase your desired service plan on an annual basis. Please contact our office to enroll in this special program at 445-5302.

Is It Safe:

We take Internet security very seriously and use the latest, most secure encryption techniques available today. Additionally, we require that any device connecting to our network from within your home be enabled using WPA encryption to comply with our security requirements. Logging on to our network also requires a unique user name and password before access is granted.

30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee:

In the event that you are unable to connect to our signal or you are unhappy with the service we will refund you in full during the first 30 days for the remaining 11 months of service. (You will only be charged for one months use, the activation fee and any installations fees.) No refunds will be given after the first 30 days and any equipment provided by MountainMesh must be returned in reusable condition.
