We have strategically positioned WiFi radios throughout the desired coverage area that “talk” to one another as well as your computer, forming a wireless network and is the same technology used by hotspot locations such as at Starbucks.

How fantastic to have real high speed. I have been using a satellite internet connection for the last 3 years and although it is faster than dial up there were still things I would wait to do on the computer and internet until I was at families house with Cox or Roadrunner. Not anymore. My banking connection and secure site connections are so fast that all my business can now be done at home. I can also watch internet video stream with very little to no delay. Something satellite or phone connection virtually never does. I am very pleased with the speed of my connection, it really is making things much easier.

Equipment Costs:

We'll need to install special equipment at your home at a cost of $260, including labor, that connects to our radios, providing you internet access. You must provide your own in-home router to connect multiple computers or we can provide and program one for you at a cost of $99.95.

Some installations may be slightly higher due to length of wiring required etc. and can only be determined during our FREE in-home signal level check. Attic and crawl space work is not part of our standard installation and price will be quoted before work begins.

Internet Plans:

We have several plans to select from to meet your specific needs. All plans are for 12 months with our 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee described below, and then continue month-to-month thereafter.

To help you select the correct plan here are some guidelines:

Pro Plan: for light use

You email frequently and occasionally visit the web for information and news. Not YouTube friendly.

Premier Plan: for moderate use

You email and surf the web frequently, download music and YouTube, shop online, and share photos.

Elite Plan: for families and heavy users

You have multiple computers in simultaneous use by family members or small business. You frequently download music, videos, Youtube and send/receive large files.

Business Plan: business class capability

Heavy use with no limits of capability.

Annual Pricing Plan-Save 10%:

If you would prefer to avoid tracking the monthly debits to your credit card, PLUS SAVE 10%, you may purchase your desired service plan on an annual basis. Please contact our office to enroll in this special program at 445-5302.

Provider Comparison Chart:

Below is a comparision of the main internet providers in the East County area. I have compiled all the pertainent information so you can make an informed decision.

A few important things to point out:

1) MountainMesh is not affected by weather, so no sweeping the snow off of a dish to re-establish service; and rain, fog and heavy clouds will not affect service either.

2) MountainMesh does not use a dish, which often are blown out of alignment and require a service tech to fix at your expense. We use a very small device that is 10"x4"x1" and mounts under an eve whenever possible so realigment is never an issue, plus it is not an eyesore like a hugh dish.

3) MountainMesh tech support is right here in Descanso, so no long waits or difficult language barriers to overcome to resolve any issues.

4) MountainMesh receives it's internet from Alpine's fiber provider so there is no latency like on satellite services. This results in quicker page loads for downloading of videos, music and general web browsing. (Latency is the extended time it takes for a web request to reach the orbiting satellite and come back down to earth.)

5) If you need to work from home you can VPN into your office in town as well as call friends via a VOIP service, like Skype, because MountainMesh doesn't have latency issues. You cannot do this with a satellite service.

6) MountainMesh also works well with cell extenders. If you currently have poor cell service at your location you can purchase a cell extender which uses MountainMesh to provide cell calls. DO NOT cancel your landline as 911 does not work on our system.

7) 60% of my new business is replacing satellite service for unhappy homeowners. As always, you get what you pay for.

Is It Safe:

We take Internet security very seriously and use the latest, most secure encryption techniques available today. Additionally, we require that any device connecting to our network from within your home be enabled using WPA2 encryption to comply with our security requirements.

30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee:

In the event that you are unable to connect to our signal or you are unhappy with the service we will refund you in full during the first 30 days for the remaining 11 months of service. (You will only be charged for one months use, the activation fee and any installations fees.) No refunds will be given after the first 30 days and any equipment provided by MountainMesh must be returned in reusable condition.
